SLS is currently hiring for the following positions:
Part – Time
School Cook 7:00 am – 12:00 pm $10.00 per hour: Prepare Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Background Check Required
Start Date: Immediately
- Greet children and parents energetically
- Child Monitoring at all times of the day
- Create a positive learning environment for students
- Administer structured lesson plans using effective teaching skills and knowledge
- Identify behaviors and patterns of every student to develop strategies for optimal outcomes
- Maintain a healthy relationship with parents regarding academic, social, and behavioral interests and needs
- Evaluate students four times per year
- Assist with bathroom breaks, meals periods, relaxation time, and assigned janitorial duties
- Maintain all required records for FSSA State Licensing
- Maintain requirements for State CACFP Food Program
- Maintain requirements for State CCDF Voucher Program
- Maintain requirements for Paths to Quality Program
Required Work Experience, Skills, and Education:
- CDA, Associates Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred But Not Required
- Must be a dependable and reliable
- Must be personable with an awesome attitude and a passion for children
- Experience in working with children, licensed child care home, center, ministry, or preschool setting
- Pass a CPS & Criminal History Check
- Pass a Drug Test, TB Test, & Physical
